Caleb Lei, died suddenly, on October 5, 2012. He was fifteen years old. Caleb was born on August 28, 1997, in Livonia, Michigan.
Caleb grew up in Troy, Michigan, where he had attended Boulan Park Middle School. He was currently enrolled at the Cranbrook School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He was an exceptional student. Caleb was an accomplished pianist and violin player. He loved computers. His aspirations after graduation from Cranbrook was to matriculate at M.I.T in Boston, MA, and pursue a career in engineering.
Caleb is survived by his loving parents Wanjun and Jing Lei. He also leaves a sister, Tiange, and several other extended family members.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 7, 2012, from 2PM until 8PM at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Rd., Troy.
Funeral services will be 11AM on Monday, October 8, 2012, at the funeral home. The Rev. Paul Walters of the Lutheran Church of the Master will officiate.
Burial will be at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Ann Arbor, MI.
