Marjorie was born in Flint, Michigan on January 6, 1923 to the late Spencer Thomas Hawke and Iva Mae Drake. She lived in Flint for a good part of her life and attended school there, graduating from Flint Central High School, obtaining her diploma.

The major career that Marjorie held in her life was when she was the Executive Secretary for the city manager of Birmingham, Michigan. She held that position for twenty years.

In her spare time, and after retiring, Marjorie enjoyed bowling and golfing, as well as spending time in Oscoda, Michigan and Naples, Florida.

Sadly on July 7, 2013, Marjorie passed away from natural causes. She was 90 years old.

Marjorie is survived by her loving children Dianne Fenrich, Gary (Margaret), and Kirk (Heather); also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Marjorie will live on through each and every one of her family members who greatly valued her presence in their lives.

Funeral service Friday July 12 11am at A.J. Desmond and Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road (btw Maple and Big Beaver), Troy - 248-362-2500. The Rev. Jack L. Mannschreck will officiate.

Family will receive friends on Thursday July 11 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Interment services to be held at White Chapel Cemetery following the funeral service.
