MILAN G. NENADIC died July 5, 2012. He was 100 years old. He lived in White Lake, MI, and spent the winters in Largo, Florida for over 26 years.
Milan was born April 1, 2012 in Vinjani, Yugoslavia to Andrew and Rose Nenadic. Milan's father emigrated to the United States when Milan was seven years old. Milan, his mother, and the rest of his family joined their father two years later. They came to the US on October 2, 1921. Milan was 9 years old. The family settled in Detroit, MI
Milan attended the Henry Ford Trade School, and used his training during his long career as a tool and die maker. He was employed by various companies, but worked the longest for Motor City Tool. He was a very talented craftsman. He not only used his skills in his line of work, but also loved working with his hands whenever possible. He even built his own lake house that he still owned to this day.
Milan loved to golf whenever possible. He also enjoyed bowling and hunting. He was a passionate sports fan, and his favorite teams were the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers, as well as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team.
Milan was the beloved husband of Lillian for 70 years. Devoted father of Charles (JoAnn), Donald (Jan) and Cheryl. Loving grandfather of Christopher, Andrew, Amanda, Michael (Jessica), Matthew, Heather Feldkamp, Andrew Feldkamp, Brian Feldkamp, and Megan Jackson (Blake), and great-grandfather of Elena and Lily. Brother of Steve Mikulich and the late Anne Sayles and Kay Kirka.
The Funeral Mass will be Monday, July 9, 2012 - 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 9086 Hutchins St., White Lake. Visitation at church begins at 10:30 a.m.
