Paul G. Fritzsching, III, 62 of Bloomfield Hills, MI passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2008.
Paul was born in Detroit on December 30, 1945 to the late Paul, Jr. and Jean Fritzsching. He served in the 70th Division of the U.S. Army Reserves.
Paul was a very compassionate man, simple, easy going, yet set in his ways. He had true love for his family. He would have done anything for his children. His proudest moments included seeing his two children get married, and holding his grandchildren.
When his children were young, Paul enriched them with the joys of living in Detroit by taking them to sporting events such as the Detroit Lions and U of M football games. He was a faithful Lions fan his whole life. He was very proud the day his son returned the favor by taking him onto Ford Field as a member of the Detroit Lions Organization.
He was also an incredible gardener. His green thumb proved worthy of beautiful flowers every year. Paul also loved animals, including his dog, “Bonka” and two cats.
Dear father of Chris (Vikki) and Jennifer Rulon (Chris). Grandfather of Jaxson Hotham and Taryn Marie Fritzsching. Brother of Susan Palmer (Michael) and Keith (Kay). Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward (btwn 13-14 Mile) Tuesday 10am until funeral service 11am.
