Mourning Misconceptions: Helping Mourners Replace Harmful Norms with Healing Truths

 

A professional conference for hospice workers, social workers, counselors, clergy, chaplains, nurses and those who support grieving people. CE hours available.

Content areas include:

  • Define the concept of misconceptions surrounding grieg and mourning.
  • Explain specific misconceptions that inhibit the capacity to convert grief to mourning.
  • Describe a number of influences on the misconceptions.
  • Understand the concept of the "Slow Grief Movement."

$30 fee for CE hours.

No charge without CE hours.
