Understanding Grief Overload: Principles and Practice

Professional conference for hospice workers, social workers, counselors, clergy, chaplains, nurses and anyone who supports grieving people.

This will be a half-day workshop.

Content areas include:

  • Demonstrate sensitivity to the special features of grief overload.
  • Explain the essential ingredients of the special features of grief overload
  • Describe the different forms of grief overload
  • Understand the various dimensions of response to grief overload
  • Learn a model to "companion" not "treat" the grief overload survivor


    This presentation is designed for Caregivers. $30 for CE hours (see below). No charge if no CE hours (certificate of attendance will be available).
